It is a good idea to use a training log to keep track of your progress in Jiu-Jitsu as well as a useful reference to look back on to refresh your mind on what you have learned.
Here is mine over on the Draculino Forum:

Just a little bit about myself, I started my journey in BJJ early in 2007. I had a background in Traditional Jiu-Jitsu (8 Months), a little Tae Kwon Do (6 Months) and a few Boxing classes (1 Month).
During my time in BJJ, I have mostly trained at the Fight Club head office at Miami, and the old premises at Mermaid. And competed any chance i could get. I received my Purple belt from Daniel Lima in November of 2009.
I opened Beenleigh Jiu-Jitsu Academy on the 1st of December 2009 as a Fight Club Jiu-Jitsu Affiliate, in Beenleigh and look forward to developing my own students from the ground up.
